With Tonympia you will train your hear so as to be able to recognize sounds as if they were colors.

Building up on that fundamental, knowing to hear the intervals, you will then be able to start recognizing more complicated forms, such as chords, which include several notes being played at the same time, their inversions and progressions.

Scales will also be on the menu, and from there on, learning how to recognize notes a roman numerals, using a reference point, will enable you to replay melodies from hear, using a given scale, which will improve your transcription and improvisation skills by a lot.

Improvisation should go through singing and hearing the melody in your head first. These games will help you master that and become a more proficient musician.

Remember, when practicing, do not give up and just keep on trying to give the correct answer. Target for 100% correct practice. Use your voice and your instrument to replay the answers once you have completed a question, so as to connect the exercises with your real world daily practice routine.
